Meet Kira
No two people are the same, and neither are their healing journey’s. I meet you where you are and tailor each treatment to what your body needs. My role is to gently guide your body back to balance, while helping educate you on how to care for yourself, so you can live a fuller, healthier and happier life not just today but also as preventative for your future.
Through Acupuncture, I help you restore balance, reconnect with your body, and find relief from the things that are keeping you stuck. Whether you’re coming in for emotional support, physical relief, or both, my goal is to always create a space where you feel listened to, supported and cared for without judgement.
My treatment’s are rooted in respect and acknowledgement of your body’s natural wisdom, with the attention to the deeper root patterns beneath the physical symptoms. I believe healing isn’t only about easing pain; it’s about guiding you back to a place of wholeness and harmony.

Frequently Asked Questions

Acupuncture uses very fine, sterile needles - much thinner than the needles used for injections. Most people feel little to no pain when they’re inserted. You may notice a quick pinch or a dull, heavy sensation that quickly fades. Many clients find treatments relaxing and even fall asleep during sessions.
-
Your first session begins with a thorough conversation about your health, lifestyle and goals. I’ll look at the bigger picture including your main concerns and any patterns that may be contributing. After that you’ll receive an acupuncture session (and sometimes additional therapies like Cupping or Gua Sha.
-
Loose, comfortable clothing is best so sleeves and pant legs can be rolled up easily. Depending on your treatment, and areas of pain or tension; you may be asked to remove clothing and cover with a sheet so specific areas (upper chest, abdomen, upper thighs, glute muscles, hip joints) can be accessed without clothing getting in the way during your treatment.
-
The number of sessions depend on your condition and goals. Some people feel changes after 1-2 treatments, while others with chronic conditions may benefit from a series of weekly sessions before moving to maintenance or seasonal care.
We’ll create a plan that’s right for you and one that works for your lifestyle.

Everyone reacts differently while their body integrates the treatment, and rebalances. Some experience fatigue, relaxation, brief lightheadedness, and stiffness. Some experience improved mood, better sleep, a greater outlook on life, and decreased pain.
These are temporary and resolve after a few hours to a day or two, and gradually resolve after several sessions, as your body acclimates to treatments.
-
It is recommended after acupuncture sessions to relax for a few hours. Depending on your day-to-day energy some can exercise and feel great the next day, and some need rest, as their bodies are recalibrating and integrating the treatment.
-
